One night to remember

One night for fun, passion, and a chance to remember what it’s like to be a woman.
I’m not looking for love.
There’s a man in my life who loves me with all his heart. He has beautiful blue eyes, is three feet tall, and calls me mommy.
He’s my whole world and I’m his. Fate stole his daddy way too soon.
What would happen if I allowed fate another chance, just for one night?

***

One night to help a friend

Why did I agree to this?
Blind dates are disasters. If I weren't helping the friend of a friend, I wouldn't go.
I’m not looking for romance, love, or even a one-night stand.
Besides, I’m no longer the hockey star known for his "pep" on the ice and in the sack. I have a new life and a new career—a new passion. I’m not looking for more.
When the blind date is a bust, could fate change everything?

One night doesn’t end with a kiss—it begins with one

From New York Times bestseller Aleatha Romig, be ready to laugh, cry, and fall head over heels as you embark on the lighter side of Aleatha in this sweet and sexy stand-alone romance, ONE NIGHT.

Truly a story that makes you believe that people are placed in our lives when we really need them! This love story made my heart so happy. I loved how you didn’t see the end coming.

I have read all Aleatha Romig's books and I must say that while I love her "dark" reads, I have thoroughly enjoyed her lighter side. One Night is the story of single mom Mandy, whose heart has been broken, and ex hockey player Malcolm, who is trying to start life over after playing hockey. They meet during a "botched" blind date and have an amazing one night together. What happens next is a fun, sexy story of two people trying a navigate a new type of relationship for both of them. Aleatha writes such relatable characters that do such a great job of carrying the story. Her secondary characters are wonderful additions to this story as well. I love Mandy's family and how supportive they are and her son, Jase, is absolutely adorable. This is such a great, light read that will make you root for this couple and have a smile on your face at the end. If you are an Aleatha fan, whether her "dark" or "light" books, you won't want to miss this one.
  • The PERFECT Night!

I absolutely LOVE the lighter side of this wonderful author! It is such a breath of fresh air to read such a wonderful feel-good, honest-to-God romance! It is a great story with real-life characters that I could identify with: Mandy the sweet, young, widowed single mother trying to the very best for her young child and Malcolm the sexy, hot, ex-professional athlete trying to find his place in the world. They come together as strangers, promising only one night. Their one night morphs into a slow burning romance that builds to a long-lasting relationship. One night is not enough for these two! This story is a wonderful, light-hearted read for anyone looking for a quick escape. As much as I prefer Aleatha's darker side, I will honestly read anything she writes since all her stories are written so well. I love the drama of this author's light (& dark!) side. This is a must read for any Aleatha fan!
  • Emotional love story!

One night is another softer book written by Aleatha. She likes to say Leatha - softer side of Aleatha. I'm absolutely in love with this side of her and I specially love the fact how she can write both kind of books (dark and soft - more traditional) with such a perfection. she is jus an excellent writer, no matter what she writes. This book is very much traditional as I mentioned above, but it is also much more emotional then her other book in this genre. I think this is why I enjoyed it even more. Mandy is single mother raising her five year old son and not allowing any time for herself. She is still grieving after her late husband and just refuse to date again until this one night. She was supposed to go to this one time blind date that was set up by her friends, but they couldn't make it. She ended up meeting gorgeous stranger instead. Attraction and chemistry is instant, but Mandy is battling her issues. This book is easy and fun read. It is a true real life situation and beautiful down to earth love story. I enjoyed it so much. I am ready for some more lighter side of Aleatha, or the dark side. Whatever she decide to do next I know it will be amazing and I will click that preorder button as soon it is ready. Excellent job Aleatha!

Love- Fun, light and sweet. One Night was heart warming and beautifully written. It is a second chance love story with array of emotions. Malcolm fulfilled his childhood dream of being a hockey star now he wants more out of life. He wants a career that will reward him in ways hockey wouldn't~a quiet life inspiring others to reach their dreams. Mandy lived her childhood dream when she started a family with the love of her life--until it all came crashing down. Now, her only dream is to love and care for her son until her mom and friends convince her to take One Night to remember what it is like to feel. When one door closes another opens and fate has other plans for Mandy when her dining companions have to cancel after she arrives. If you add one drink while waiting, one protective gentlemen, one table to talk and one smile you are guaranteed one hot kiss. And one kiss is only the beginning to One Long sexy Night. Can One Night open your heart enough to start living again? Aleatha does an amazing job of being her characters to life - they are fun and exciting. I fell in love with Malcolm- head over heals in love.

This is the first time I have read this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and sexy love story. When I read the synopsis, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a love story of a young widowed mom, a sweet 5-year-old boy and a mature retired hockey player. Delicious! Blind dates are a crap shoot. They more often than not end in disaster or disappointment, as was the case with Amanda’s one night out in years. Her friends that set her up had a work emergency happen and had to cancel. Her date didn’t show. She was all dressed up, had a babysitter and the night was a bust, so she threw caution to the wind. What did she have to lose? Let the fates decide and she started up a conversation with a very handsome and charming stranger. Malcom wasn’t disappointed that his date didn’t show and his friends cancelled. He was seated at the bar next to a very beautiful woman. He and Amanda kept the conversation going and they hit it off. The chemistry was definitely there. Malcolm made his move and Amanda decided she would try to do what her young and carefree self would do five years ago before losing her husband. She would take Malcolm up on his offer of a no strings attached night of passion. Amanda stressed this was one night and one night only. Easier said than done. After their night together, they both felt that pull and that crazy chemistry. Malcolm was all in but Amanda felt guilty and felt that she couldn’t pursue a relationship with Malcolm. Thank goodness for her best friend and mother, they encouraged her to take the stolen moments with Malcolm and just enjoy her time with him. Live a little! Amanda had one little problem. Her son started kindergarten and he wasn’t adjusting. He never had problems in preschool. He is a smart and sweet little boy. She doesn’t want to take time away from him and she certainly didn’t want to introduce Malcolm to her son. That would just be too much for all of them! Malcolm was a very patient man with Amanda. He let her set the pace. He wanted more with her and he was ready to see where this relationship would go. I loved Malcolm and Amanda and the secondary characters were a great supporting cast. This was such a pleasure to read! No heavy drama, plenty of steamy scenes, sweet tender moments and a surprising little twist. I don’t want to give any more away because I want you to enjoy the feels, passion and thrill that is One Night. Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and curl up with Malcolm and Amanda’s love story!
