    I had such a hard time getting past the rape-y, murder-y vibes from the first couple encounter. The female lead fell for it when, with the way the author describes her to be a “strong” woman, she would have fought the guy off. The story had potential and the sexy scenes were well done, if you could get over the fact that again, he basically rapes her the first time. I’ve read a few of Aleatha’s books and this was by far the worst. I will not be purchasing the second book.

    Lots of twists and turns, enjoyed it until I realized it ends in a cliffhanger. If you put out a cliffhanger then tell us so we are prepared.

    Just when you think you’ve figured the storyline out, boom. It takes another direction. When you get comfortable with the characters, then the devil shows the dark side. If it had to be a cliffhanger, then at least it got you to a good place.

    I love this author she never disappoints. Every time I see one of her books I brace for the story lines. I'm afraid I've been Aleathaed. I recommend if you want to be apart of the scene and embraced in the moments.

    More questions than answers…this story begins as a mystery and of course a lot of hot chemistry 💋 as weeks go by, she is still unable to decipher her past, present and future. This ends on a cliffhanger. So worth the tread in my opinion🥰
