I was at first confused because it has been so long since I read the previous book. However, as I read on more of the story came to mind. I enjoyed this cosy mystery as much as the characters in the book.

This mystery had some fun twists, humor and yet some unexpected touching moments. I am never disappointed by either series and this one was no exception. I appreciate how the two series are linked, it is like double the fun and laughs. I was given this book in advance and all of the above comments are my honest opinions.

A great addition to the new series. Loving it as much as the Raina Sun series.
  • A fast paced well written story with great characters

Lucy has left her life in San Francisco, and returned home to be near her estranged P.I. mother who is in a coma after being shot. In addition to helping her mother’s cousin run the detective agency, there is a vacant family owned storefront to deal with. When Lucy goes over to check on the locked commercial building, a man stagers out and collapses. Who is this man? Who put out a hit on him, on the dark web? Who then tried to poison him? And who finally finished him off in his hospital bed? Please note though (volume) 2, this is actually the third in the series with Just Lost and Found being a novella following the first title in the series. The books should be read in order as there is an ongoing storyline. There is some slight story crossover with Ms. Tan’s Raina Sun series. A series I can strongly recommend, too.
