This story is part of an annual writing competition the school runs in term 3. The theme in this year was refugee. A theme is used to inspire the students imagination. This book entitled “Call Me Refugee” was a collaboration between a refugee background student and her Australian First Nation classmate. The two students wanted to share their cultures unique stories and show the cross over of disposition, grief, loss and joy. This book, images and story belongs to Fairfield Public School a NSW Department of Education Public School in the CBD of Fairfield in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
