Description

She's about to walk on the wild side . . .

While filling the display case in her bakery, the bell over the door sounds and Tessa O'Hara looks up to see the man of her dreams. Within thirty seconds he asks her out for a beer. But after four months of dating, she discovers he's an undercover DEA agent-and he's investigating her possible role in her ex-husband's drug business. For Tess, this means their relationship is over.

Brock disagrees. He's committed to his anti-drug mission, but he's fallen in love with the beautiful woman who's as sweet as her cupcakes-and he'll do anything to win her back. Standing between Tess and Brock are their own exes, one of them a drug lord who's determined to get what he wants. Now as danger threatens, can Brock break the rules he's lived by and let loose his wild side to protect the woman he loves?

Law Man fits in this series perfectly. Though you don’t see much of the other men in the dream series in this book, it’s still just as good as the others. It’s now a top favorite. You will love Tess’s strength and Brock’s sweetness the most in this book. KA wrote this story perfectly. Definite must read, especiallyyyyy if you loved Hawk and Gwen’s story.

Good book but not as good as the first book Mystery Man. Loved the characters Tessa and Brock were great together and they had great chemistry. Brocks boys we’re sweet but I’m in love with Ellie Brock’s niece.

I adore this series and the story comes out with a bang. Alpha man who loves his family and woman. Suspense that keeps you intrigued while humor galore. I also love that other characters from this authors books make an appearance in an awesome and cohesive way that makes me want to go back and reread those books as well.

I loved mystery man so I bought this one to read next but I saw so many of the same qualities between both books and characters that I became a little uninterested. Still a great book was just hoping for a different story than the first book.

A great story. I love how all the stories tie together. Crime the police to the cams dos, to the motorcycle club, to the special investigators. You know the guy is going to get the girl, but it's s hell of a ride getting their.

The hardest thing about this book was that I didn't like Slim's character from Mystery Man... But I have to say I was in love by the end! Absolutely love Kristen's humor.

When I first started reading this book I thought there is know way KA wrote it. It's a really good book but there is definitely a change of mood and character in this one, the mood is different the vibe is off. Enjoyed this book but......😉

So, I just started reading this book and it's good. However, the dialogue between the characters sound more like they are in their twenty's then forties. And Tess is a bit annoying, again her character is like a twenty-something woman with no life experience. But with everything she has been through, she should be a bit smarter. So far she hasn't even questioned Brock about lying. Seems like she dismisses it because he is so cute. I'll keep reading because I am interested in what happens next. I just finished the book and I am upgrading my original rating to four stars. Tess was much better by the end of the book. If you like rock chicks than you'll enjoy this book.
  • Boring!

I have read several of this author's books, and though they were all very similar, the all kept my interest and were entertaining. This one was just DULL! The man, Brett, was a boor. Tacky, rude, and not very respectful. I love the alpha males in the other books, but they all have a kind and sensitive side. It's one was just like being married to my husband. Who needs a romance novel like that? And there was almost no excitement in this book. Mostly family drama, and again, who needs a book about that? We can just look at our own loves for that.

This is by far my favorite book in this series. Once you pick it up you can't put it down until its finished. I've read this story from beginning to end at least five times and it still gets to me. The perfect story of pain, loss, crazy friendships, and chaos and finding your own piece of paradise in the midst of it all.
