    MMC/FMC- Stoker and Layla POV- 1st person dual Genre- MC Romance Heat- 🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋 hot and heavy. They name the parts and do the things. Series? Y Safety- N. No cheating. Includes S.A. Other triggers- Violence (including torture), language, explicit erotic content, riding motorcycles without a helmet. Tropes- One Night Stand, Damsel in Distress, Age Gap, Secrets and Lies What I thought- the chemistry between the two main characters is intense and delicious. They are each broken people who are whole when they are together. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Stoker has been locked up for nine years so when he gets out he finds Layla in his bed and thinks she s his gift on the night of his welcome home party but she was only laying down due to a migraine. This is the start of their romance that takes them through killing off another MC club and dealing with the trauma of the treatment from that club.     We first meet Stoker as he's released from prison. The author gives us some great insight into his adjustment from prison to real life. He hooks up with Layla, who is Briella's best friend. They both aren't looking for a relationship, but a hookup or two is okay with them both. However, they both realize they are starting to have feelings. I love how they fall in love without even realizing it. But Layla has a huge secret that comes back to make her life miserable. But Stoker is a protector and the MC have adopted her into the family.
