    Piper and Jem have been trying to hide their relationship as she is the sister to one of his MC brother's. When something unexpected happens their secret is exposed.     MMC/FMC- Jem and Piper POV- 1st person Genre- MC Romance Heat- 🌋🌋🌋 with use of the P word Series? Y Safety? No cheating, but there’s attempted/threatened S.A. Other triggers- the Biker’s Trifecta (language, violence, explicit erotic content). Tropes- Forbidden Love, Brother’s Best Friend, Secret Relationship, Dysfunctional Family FTW, HEA. What I liked- Piper and Jem. They were likable and each of them had foibles that were amusing rather than annoying. And I love a good rescue romance. What I didn’t- I thought that keeping the relationship secret lasted a little too long. They needed to all come clean and be adults about it.     This book takes you back to Wade's story ( Secret Rider) so you need to read this series in order. Whew, the tension between Jem and Piper is hot. She has major trust issues but Jem plans to make her realize she is his. Full of action, banter, hot push/pull, humor, MC brotherhood, nasty family, insecurity, patience, threats, kidnapping, strength, mistrust, determination and love. Can’t wait for next book!.     These are two characters we've seen earlier in the series. There had been speculation there was something going on between them, but everyone denied it. Come to find out Piper and Jem have been hiding their relationship. When her roommate shows up at the compound to tell the MC Piper's been taken, things come to a head. Most of this story is told in flashback as it was happening simultaneously with the previous stories. I like the progression of their relationship and how Piper finally stands up for Jem and their relationship. Great HEA.
