Description

Enjoy this dark motorcycle club romance from USA Today Bestselling MC romance author Jessica Ames...

The cage is where I feel most at home. There's something about the thrill of the fight, of chasing an opponent around the ring that calms those demons inside me. At least until I found the club. I'm a patched brother now, no longer a prospect and with that comes responsibilities, loyalty too. For the first time in a long time I have a place in the world, one that doesn't come with conditions. The Untamed Sons are my family. Brothers closer than blood, men I would fight and die for. I never expected to want anything outside of that world, until I met her. Carissa is everything I want and more, but she's harbouring secrets, ones that put her in danger. Saving her will mean going up against a man I once considered blood too, but there's no way I'm walking away from her. She's mine and I'll do whatever it takes to save her.

All books in the Untamed Sons universe can be read as standalones, but are better enjoyed read in order. This is a dark romantic story with a guaranteed happily ever after. It does have some strong language, graphic violence and content that might be triggering.

MMC/FMC- Kyle and Carissa POV- 1st person dual Genre- MC Romance Lite Heat- 🌋🌋🌋☄️ (1🌋=2☄️) they do the thing and use the P word whilst naming the parts Series? Y Safety? Y; no cheating or S.A. Triggers- Graphic violence, assault, language, explicit erotic content Tropes- Mob Debt, Damsel in Distress, Instalove, Workplace Romance, My Brother’s Keeper Thoughts- I enjoyed reading this novella. It was fast paced and commanded the attention. I like that the MC is multiracial. The main characters were likable. Carissa was an admirable person in caring for her brother. And although Kyle’s life ans a cage fighter isn’t always on the up and up, his character is noble. The triggers weren’t too difficult to deal with and the book contained no S.A. or cheating. Recommended. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a re-read for me. I'm on a Jessica Ames kick right now. Cage and Carissa are both working for Hugh, unable to break their ties to him. When Hugh goes after Carissa and her brother, all bets are off. It's dark and violent, and the MC goes above and beyond to protect not just Cage, but Carissa and Brandon as well. Once Carissa gives in to her feelings for Cage, they're steaming hot together. I love that he's so protective of her, and doesn't abandon her brother. The book is a great addition to the series, and I'm glad to see Cage with his happy forever. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cage was engaging from the start. A shorter book but with a good plot, great characters and touch her and die, one of my favorites. Protective MMC and strong FMC make for great chemistry. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Kyle is part of the Untamed Sons MC and lives for the MMA cage fighting where he is very good. Carissa is the doctor who fixes the fighters up when needed because she owes Hugh the trainer. When Hugh wants more from her and Kyle finds out it s just another problem that he is willing to fix as he has feelings for Carissa. Both Cage and Carissa are held in the grip of an evil man. Cage has his MC to support him though. Carissa is pretty much alone, protecting her brother who got her locked into this nightmare to begin with. These two are attracted to one another but Carissa is convinced she has no way out. I loved how we saw their relationship evolve. Although written within an established series, this book is a shorter novella about this specific couple and can read as a stand alone. Great HEA.
