Description

A swoony, small town romance from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix!

He’s a player. She has no intention of getting played. But the rules of this game change everything.

Tess Stanton is marking things off her bucket list. A trip to Alaska should be fun. Except her jerk of an ex left her in a cranky mood. Nathan Winters—a way too handsome and charming guide—is disarmingly distracting.

Nathan excels at flirting and usually doesn’t have to work to reel in a woman. Tess wants nothing to do with him, but her reserve is a challenge he wants to win.

What was supposed to be a fun fling becomes so much more once Nathan and Tess yield to the sparks flying between them. When Tess returns home, far away from Alaska, she is confronted with just how much Nathan means to her.

Nathan has no question that Tess is the woman for him, and he’s willing to follow her anywhere to prove it to her.

Nathan & Tess’s story is perfect for readers who love small town romance, hot heroes, smart & sassy heroines, opposites attract, slow burn, emotional romance with a dash of angst, plenty of swoon, and a broody hero.

*A full-length standalone romance.

When you meet someone for a moment and there’s something that triggers a wider smile than usually when you meet a woman. Take hold and ask her to Dinner . See where things go& when fireworks go off in your body , chase after that love . It could be the one , so go for it. Life is too short.

Plot was good. Nathan was awesome. Tess was the weak link - pun intended. Loved Tess’ family and her best friend, Deanna. Everyone pulled their weight except for Tess.

Loved Tess and Nathan’s story. Couldn’t put it down. Good storyline and I’m glad all the characters from book 1 were woven in, except Emma whose story is next to read.
