Description

A swoon-worthy, small town holiday romance from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix!
Janie almost drowned when she met Travis. Way to impress a man.
When Janie Stevens gets fished out of the icy ocean, she doesn’t expect to fall for the man who saves her. Travis Wilkes is all kinds of man—firefighter, emergency responder and pure, raw masculinity. She’s completely unprepared for the fierce craving he kindles.
Travis is much too busy for love. He’s been honed by a life on the edge in Alaska. After he yanks Janie out of the freezing ocean waters, he can’t stop thinking about her. A man who doesn’t blink in the face of danger finds himself nearly brought to his knees by a feisty, stubborn woman.
Janie has zero interest in romance. The past taught her it isn’t worth it. But Travis makes it hard to remember the past.
The sparks flying between Janie and Travis are burning too fast for them to ignore. Hot nights, snowy days and Christmas just might convince Travis and Janie that love is possible.

*All novels in this series are full-length standalone novels with an HEA.

  • Sweet story but...

Sweet story. I did feel that Janie and Travis’ love story was rushed in the sense that it wasn’t a lot of dialogue between them. There was a lot of internal dialogue about their feelings but they literally went on a few dinner dates...still a sweet story.

Relationship struggles are things most of us deal with. This was the story of Travis and Janie’s struggle with theirs and a struggle it was for sure! Good book and good finale to the series.
