Description

Prillon warrior Thomar Arcas is the royal heir to his ancestor’s legacy of dishonor, betrayal and death. When he was captured by the Hive, some on his home world cheered. Some sighed with relief. None shed a tear.

Thomar, along with his second, Varin, break free and destroy an enemy base, barely escaping with their lives. They transport to The Colony, the last refuge for contaminated males. Upon arrival they suffer in agony, their cyborg implants fighting for control of the powerful warriors.

Defeat is not in their blood. Not in their history. Not in their souls. Unable to sever their ties to the Hive implants, and suffering unrelenting pain, the warriors are about to choose an honorable death over further disgrace; until they are matched to a human female from Earth who very much needs their broken pieces to make herself whole. A female whom they crave with an intensity that just might pull them back from the brink of death.

Danika Gray left Earth to start a new life. With every touch, every kiss, every moment in their arms she finds herself closer to the paradise she seeks. But how can she free her new mates from endless torment? Fight an enemy she cannot see?

Love and passion are her only weapons. Lust. Desire. She must surrender everything she is —give in to their insatiable hunger—in order to save them.

Even that might not be enough…

  • Fantastic story!

This is the latest story by Grace Goodwin and I thought it was fantastic! I have loved the series since the beginning and it keeps getting better and better. There was an interesting twist at the end that I can't wait to see how it will play in the next books. Thomar and his second, Varin have not had an easy time. They have served in the war with honor until they were captured by a Nexus unit. They managed to escape but have been sent to The Colony. Unbeknownst to them, they have been matched by the Interstellar Bride Program. They were going to reject her until they met her. Danika has made some tough decisions in her life and is willing to take a shot at the Interstellar Bride Program. She is not going to let her men make a decision for her regarding their mating though. When they are called upon a mission, they must bring her along. Will they be able to work out their differences to make the mating work? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • “I wanted the dream “

Danika went to the Interstellar Brides Program afraid it was nothing but lies, and came out of the matching process wanting the dream. Thomar has been shattered into pieces by Hive torture, the only thing holding him together still is an unusual bond with his second Varin. Considering himself unfair for a mate, Thomar can’t imagine a woman would insist on keeping them! This done in one stand alone story goes beyond the healing power of both loyalty and love, it explores the strength we gain from others, the importance of so many relationships… and the different ways in which we protect and care for others.

  • Will she fight for her mates and future?

Claimed by the Cyborgs is the ninth book in the Interstellar Brides Program: The Colony series. Danika has never felt wanted and after years in prison, she takes the chance to be an Interstellar Bride. Her near perfect match is threatened by the Hive’s integrations and Thomar and Varin might have to make an unexpected choice to let their bride go. Will Danika fight for her mates and future, or will death consume them all? Oh wow, what an amazing book! I don’t know how she does it, but Ms. Goodwin has created another masterpiece within an already fantastic series. Danika, Thomar, and Varin completely stole my attention and heart! This book grabbed me right away and I truly did not want to put this book down! There’s passion, drama, danger, some twists and turns I didn’t see coming, and there were some emotional scenes, too! I loved it! Danika was skeptical of the process, but I loved that she went feet first into tumbling in love with her mates. She’s a fighter, but she often feels like she doesn’t have much to give. I think she was so strong and courageous and she refused to back down! Thomar and Varin were so interesting to read, to see how the Hive worked on them and how that correlates to having a mate. I loved how much they cared for Danika and put her first, even if that seemed to them like the ultimate sacrifice. I loved their connection, I loved their passion, and I loved how they fought for each other in lots of different ways. I mentioned earlier that there were lots of intriguing twists and turns, too! I loved this book! I love this series! I can’t wait to see what developments might unfold for the future of this series, too!

Another great read from Grace! And this one was so suspenseful too, I couldn’t put it down! It will be really interesting to see how the series continues after this interaction with the Hive (the enemies in the series). I wish there was a little more romance in this one, and maybe would have like to get to know the characters some more. But overall I really enjoyed it! As always with her books it was a super steamy insta-love read that is interconnected but can be read as a standalone. However, not every end is tied or question answered as the war with the Hive continues. I usually like everything being wrapped up in a nice little bow, but actually have learned to appreciate that it’s not here because it keeps the series going and makes it interesting since you learn a little more in each book. • This book is fire!!!

This is one of Grace’s best books of her series in my opinion. I love this emotional and compelling “wounded warriors” tale of redemption. These two broken males are literally saved by Danika, who through the course of the story, conquers both her own demons and heals her mates. And did I mention the sex is pure fire? The trios chemistry seems non-existent at first, due to her mates holding back from her because of their own fears, but then HOLY SPACE BALLS - it is total FIRE when Danika breaks through their defenses. Just the first intimate sex scene is jaw-dropping, off-the-charts HOT!!! Two dominant males satisfying their woman with demands, commands, explicit talk, and raw, no holding back sex - yes please! But honestly, what really makes this story good is that it isn’t just about hot sex scenes. It’s the sincerity and growth of these characters that pulls you in. I found myself rooting for them and actually crying as they processed their pain and healed a little bit more. Their journeys are so compelling- all facing different struggles- past trauma, disability, loss of hope, loneliness, feelings of worthlessness, depression and despair. They need each other to overcome the physical and psychological wounds they’ve endured, learn to believe in themselves, trust in their bond, and accept love for the first time. They literally have to learn they are lovable and not damaged. Together they battle their self-doubt, PTSD and the viscous Hive! It’s also so cool that the female character isn’t passive, shy or timid but fights for what she wants. Danika is a no-nonsense, fearless woman with a huge heart for the victimized. As an Interstellar Bride, she decides to stand up to any threats to protect her mates and love they share - no matter the danger. It’s all worth it in the end.

I absolutely love the Interstellar Brides series! This book delves into the Hive more & I’m excited to see where Grace Goodwin takes it along with the great insta-love stories with the HEA. I loved Danika! Her feistiness, her attitude, her speeches (both in her head & to certain characters). Varin with his unwavering loyalty & Thomar who tried to be better than his family name - these are the types of characters you root for & want to see get their happy endings. To me these books are never long enough but I know it’s got to difficult to just write them so I’m thankful for every one! I also know, especially with this book, there is sooo much more to explain & I cannot wait! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I always cannot wait for more. Definitely top five in my favorite series list. Antsy for warden Egara and for Helion, but afraid that would be the end of the series. Too ironic if they ended up together, those two. Don’t do it! They deserve their own story. Would love to see another Forsian pairing. Until this next one…<3
