Description

Anya Gage has learned that to get anything good in life, you have to work for it. She has no expectations, no dreams.

Then she finds herself at a party where she doesn’t want to be and she meets Knight.

Knight Sebring knows who he is, what he wants and what he likes. And he gets it. But he never expected something as sweet as Anya Gage to wander into his bedroom during a party he did not expect to be having to borrow his phone.

Knight tries to leave Anya to the life she deserves of white picket fences and a man who watches football on Sundays – good, normal and clean. But when Anya comes to his nightclub and finds herself in a situation, he knows someone has to look after her, he can’t fight it anymore and he decides that man will be him.

Knight teaches Anya that, just as with the bad, in life you should also expect the good. And he teaches her this by giving it to her.

But Knight has a dark past and just as he desires Anya for exactly who she is, he fears when she finds out exactly the man he has become and always intends to be, she’ll leave him for good, normal and clean.

Knight is a M A N, who is a control freak, domineering in every way...violent too. But he’s got a soft heart. I understand the reviews of “Caveman and Daddy issues.” But again he’s a man who likes to possess and have sex. Overall it’s a good read. I’m happy she got her HEA.

Loved this book so much, the love, wow. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 .....you should edit this book and all reference to Knight as “Daddy” deleted! Hated that!

I love me an alpha but an alpha that is overbearing and and controlling to the point of controlling ever facet of her life is just too much. I’m sorry but I did not like Knight or Anya. We are all a lil dumb when we fall in love but she’s just dumb dumb. The stupid questions and every time she cowers i just want to slap her and be like stand up for. Nope I can’t read another word.

A good story. Even if I did not quite Like how Knight and Anya were portrayed. Knight, in my opinion was a bit too overbearing and Anya gave the title of submissive an entire new meaning.

After reading Rock Chick series, this one is disappointing. I just hope the remaining books get better

I made it to Chapter 4, the book is just terrible. The conversations are the worst! Almost cave man one word answers, I am surprised the author could even use punctuation with the male characters short responses. The female is just very immature.

Story didn’t flow. Too much like 50 shades and corny

I don’t know what is wrong with some reviewers. This was NOTHING like 50 shades. Knight and Anya are so much more complex and have such better chemistry. The “daddy” thing threw me, but that terminology is extremely prevalent in the kink scene, so if anything Kristen Ashley wrote a more relevant and realistic book than the ones out there right now. Well written, and awesome story line as always.

Daddy... She calls him daddy and he calls her baby. It was a little disturbing to be honest and every time she said it jerked me out of the story for a minute or two so I could cringe and shudder. Blech...
