    The idea behind this book was really good, however I couldn’t get over the fact that he knew and protected Lexi since she was a child and then all of a sudden was in love with her. Felt creepy and weird to me. The jumps in time were hard to follow and made things seem less realistic and there were a lot of random characters introduced that had me wondering if the author was trying to plug characters from other books of hers into this one, if so, the crossover for me felt unnatural. I had high hopes for this book and unfortunately it fell short in my opinion.

    So freaking dumb.. lots of time skips, weird character introductions and exits. Just a bad written work, not paced at all. Got old fast. The whole “plot twist” of michael sleeping with sophia was far fetched. Then that alejandro would sleep with a hopefully legal adult lexi would make him twice her age, let alone that he was engaged to her mom. He spilled all these lies about sophia, lying to lexi her daughter! Weird, twisted, pathetic story

    Okay I thought this series would be a break from the angst! I was mistaken and beautifully mistaken at that! It is phenomenal! The crossover characters from other books is on point but once you read the final book you are blown away with the ending!

    Best book I’ve read in a long time! Couldn’t put it down! Ups and downs, twists and turns. Loved it. Do yourself a favor and read this book, also loved that it was all in one book, not broken up into two with cliffhangers! Way to go M. Robinson!
