Second Chance Mine

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)... 3.75 stars This story focuses on Adrian (Tristian’s friend) and Paige (Belle’s friend and Executive Assistant). I would classify this as a second chance frenemies to lovers romance because there seemed to be a lot of hate before they find the love again. This book picks up right where we left of in Second Chance Rival with Paige and Adrian facing off. These two have a lot of history mostly painful due to a lot of decisions made with the best intentions that didn’t work out unfortunately. What I enjoyed the most about this book was Paige’s refusal to give into Adrian’s demands so easily. She didn’t forgive and forget even though Adrian at times tried to make her do just that. Their history was definitely complicated with Paige being his little brother’s, Cade’s, best friend. We also have a stalker mystery that created a lot of twists and turns for the story; I was shocked that Paige waited so long to actually worry about it, but thankfully Adrian was there to help in his own annoying way. I really did enjoy this book like I said I loved that Paige handled herself without swooning so easily; however, I was annoyed because Adrian’s “self-sacrifice” in the past didn’t go as he planned, but he did nothing to actually fix it until 10+ years later. I completely understand Paige’s hurt and hatred since she was the one who lost everything with Adrian’s action or should I say inaction. I am sad that this is the last book in this series, but it was a nice ending for the series.

Devastated this absolute incredible series is officially done. Monica is the Queen of Angst and this series and this book between Adrian and Page is just another example why she's one of my favorites. This friends/best friends brothers to lovers to enemies to boss/employee got me all the feels and I gobbled this book up in less than a day. I can't wait to see what is coming next from Monica and hopefully we get glimpses of these characters in future series.

This book just yanked me right in and held me there! I couldn’t put it down! I read it within 24 hours! Holy alpha male, and chemistry and action.. just when I thought I had thing figured out, bam nope wrong omg I can’t believe what just happened! What a predicament to be in! You’ve got to read this book!

OMG, I absolutely freaking loved Paige and Adrian’s love story. This entire second chance series has given my reading life lately. I’m sad to see it come to an end, but don’t worry there will be rereads in my future. The angst and slow burn of this book are off the charts and man oh man the actual spicy parts are heavenly, per M Robinson’s MO. There’s also a touch of suspense and thrill thrown in here, which in my opinion made the book even better. I’m obsessed and highly recommend this book especially if you enjoy any of her other books. You will not be disappointed. *** SPOILERS BEYOND THIS LINE…you have been warned*** Paige and Adrian grew up together due to Paige and Adrian’s younger brother being best friends. However as most best friendships go Adrian was always the off limit guy, but Paige fell in love anyways. Long story short he breaks her heart and they spend 10 years apart, but are brought back together when Paige needs a new job to stay busy (if you read the book before this, you know why!). Turns out Paige has got a stalker and Adrian is livid because she hasn’t told anyone and only recently went to the cops about it. So the rest of the story is full of good angst and spicy scenes, while they try to work out their indifferences and mend Paige’s broken heart on the road to finding her stalker. I absolutely loved their banter throughout the pages and I just could not put the book down. This beauty will be joining the rest of M Robinson’s books on my bookshelves, don’t worry.

I hope the author takes my $5 and puts it towards an editor on the next book. The entire prologue was literally accidentally copied and pasted again in the middle of the book. Other than the grammar/formatting issues, it is interesting and engaging.

I loved Second Chance Mine. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t put down. This had a lot of different tropes within the story. The storyline was intriguing and amazing. This was kinda suspenseful, forbidden, angsty, and emotional read. Definitely gave you the feels like all the rest of M. Robinson books. I loved Adrian and Paige, they was this intense connection. He was such an alpha, that knew what he wanted. Of course it was hot too! This was such good end to the Second Chance series.

I love this books so much!!! The characters were amazing! I was hooked from the first couple pages. I never wanted to put it down. When it ended I was like no, I love Adrain and Paige. This book is one that will stay with me for months. I highly recommend this book! I wish I could give it ten stars instead of five because it’s that amazing.

What I really liked about this book is how Adrian treated Paige throughout the book. We got to see how their love grew from day one through flashbacks and how it was torn apart. I always enjoy a little more in depth on the back stories when it plays such a huge role in storyline. There wasn’t much spice in this you till the last bit which was eh for me, but it did deliver at the end which was A+. This was a great story to the series and I can’t wait for the next one. I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

Absolutely adored this book! Adrian is hot & sexy alpha who manages to be sweet & oh so vulnerable at the same time. This story had suspense as well and I loved that addition. Paige & Adrian had amazing chemistry. I think this one may be my favorite of the series!
