Description

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson comes a standalone best friend’s baby sister, second chance billionaire romance.

She was my best friend's little sister, which meant she was off limits, but I couldn’t help myself. I never could when it came to her, and in the end, I left town and made something of my myself.

Ten years later and I was one of the richest men in the world. I had everything I ever wanted except for her. Little did I know, life would give me a second chance to make things right by her. She was suddenly my publicist, treating me as if I was nothing more than another client when I stole all her firsts.

Including her heart.

I needed to take matters into my own hands, making her an offer she couldn’t refuse.

For the next ten days, she signed a contract stating…

She was mine.

This book had so much potential based on the story line. But the main male character is emotionally abusive to the female throughout the entire book and it is so highly romanticized it’s concerning and looks bad. He also says many things to her that border on sexual harassment, no one finds that attractive.

I really enjoyed the story. It dragged on a bit long and sometimes to be more about the sex than the love story. Good read though.

WOW! Just not in a good way, wow. This book had so much potential, in the beginning. Not really fond of Autumn’s back and forth, yes and no. And, Mr. Harda$$, is just that. Did it get better? Who knows? After a little over 100 pages in, who cares? I don’t..

This story was plagued with emotional abuse romanticized by the author. It was tough to root for either character given the dynamics of the relationship depicted.

The characters great, story great, overall tantalizing read. That is, until Capri comes in. As someone who interacts with a nine year old daily, this character is just poorly written. It’s almost as if she was a failed attempt at comedic relief? I don’t know, it got the point where I skipped the page if she had any dialogue. If Capri was five, then okay, I could tolerate it. But NINE??
