Description

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson comes an enemies to lovers, forbidden standalone romance. Look but don’t touch…
She showed up at my bar with a fake ID, I kicked her out. On her 18th birthday, the following week, she showed up again. Except this time, she was demanding a job. Willing to do whatever it took to get it. Against my better judgment, she got her way, but I’m not going to make it easy on her. Neither are the guys at the bar. I have two choices: Pretend she’s mine to protect her. Or deal with the consequences when her five older, overprotective brothers find out what their little sister is up to. Either way… It’s going to be hell on me. Because the enemy is my temptation and like a sinner, I just can’t stay away.

    M. Robinson is back with a brand new series and oh my, this book does not disappoint! I have been waiting for a story that brings all the feels and Tempting Enemy does just that! It grips you from the first chapter and brings you along for one crazy ride. Haven and Hayes are a fantastic together and this book was just what I needed. Cannot wait for the next book!!

    M. Robinson has shown us, yet again, just how much the Queen of Angst that she is with this one. Haven and Hayes are a tragically beautiful couple and I love it. Both have traumatic past’s, please check trigger warnings for this, but they come through the mountain of hurt and find the happiness they deserve in each other. I truly enjoyed this one, minus the cliffy. I know cliffhangers are to keep the anticipation high but, darn it, I need April to come now! This was a great way to start a brand new series and M. Robinson sure started it with a bang!

5 ⭐️ I have two words for you-HOLY HOTNESS! Tempting Enemy by M Robinson is the first book in the brand new series Beckham Dynasty and OH MY GOSH you guys…I have no words. It of course had M Robinsons signature style but yet it was so different at the same time. I already know that this series is going to be my favorite of all time. Hayes and Haven were two amazing characters that stole my heart from the get-go. Their chemistry was off the charts explosive and I seriously could not get enough of the banter between the two. The storyline was epic and had me fanning myself at times but also had my eyes tearing up a time or two. I can honestly cannot wait to see where Ms. Robinson takes this series-I am truly so excited. Highly recommend reading this book!

I loved this book, I wish not didn’t end so fast lol (I was hooked and read it in one sitting!) The chemistry between Haven and Hayes is very noticeable and undeniable.. And the way their lives intertwine is a good touch to the story.. I really look forward to reading more of the series!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)... 3.5 stars This is book is labeled as enemies to lovers, but I wouldn’t really categorized it that way. Hayes and Haven have a complicated relationship and an even more complicated past. Hayes is an only child and his home was less than stellar childhood and Haven is the only girl and youngest of 6 kids; whiles Hayes was all alone, Haven has been overprotected by her brothers, her oldest brother is 20 years older than her. I honestly couldn’t stand Haven for about 70% of the book, she is 18 years old and she acts like she knows everything, but all she did from the beginning was put herself in danger. She was constantly saying she could handle anything and everything without knowing all the info or what was happening. She fell in love with a man and she didn’t even know anything about him, she barely knew his name. Once the truth is revealed everything made more sense, but it felt like it dragged on unnecessarily at parts. I really felt for Hayes and everything he was holding in, but he definitely handled business in the end. I also didn’t understand Haven’s reason for demanding a job at Hayes’ bar now; since the reason she wanted the job was always there (can’t reveal it, it’s a spoiler) and now suddenly she realized she needed money to accomplish it. It just felt like this book was a bit all over the place and it didn’t flow naturally. I honestly didn’t believe their love was authentic, I felt like being told they loved each other instead of watching unfold. I am interested in Cove (Haven’s best friend) and Jace’s (Haven’s oldest brother) book.

OMG…the queen of angst does it again. Hayes and Haven are EVERYTHING, the dynamic between them is broken and beautiful. A little age gap thrown in for good measure and classic good girl loves bad boy and brings back his heart. M Robinson never ceases to amaze me with her writing skills and that’s no different for Tempting Enemy, where each character comes with their own demons. The way Hayes begins to lower his walls with Haven and the way he treats her is so beautiful and then add in her dad and brothers, I love it. This book will be joining all the others of hers on my bookshelf where I can reread as much as I want. Thank you for writing us something so soul-crushingly beautiful. <3
